Connecting generosity
with real-world impact

Many families want to donate toys but lack a simple, trusted way to ensure they reach children who truly need them. Existing platforms were too complex, lacked transparency, or weren't designed for this specific use case.

Our team was tasked with designing a mobile platform that would make toy donation as simple and trustworthy as possible, from the donor's first tap to the child receiving their gift.

A simple, human-centered
donation experience

Toy's Treasure is a mobile app that connects donors directly with verified distribution organizations. Families can browse, select items to donate, schedule pickups, and track the journey of their donation, building trust through transparency.

The MVP focused on three core flows: donation creation, organization matching, and delivery tracking.

From Idea to MVP

01

Discovery & Research

User interviews with donors and NGO coordinators. Competitive analysis of existing donation platforms. Identified key pain points: complexity, lack of trust, and poor mobile UX.

02

Define & Ideate

Defined user personas, mapped user journeys, and led ideation workshops with the cross-functional team. Prioritized features for the MVP scope.

03

Design & Prototype

Created wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma. Iterated based on user testing sessions. Established a warm, friendly visual language that communicates trust and generosity.

04

Build & Launch MVP

Coordinated with developers to deliver the MVP. Managed sprints, QA testing, and stakeholder communication through launch, ensuring the product shipped on time and on scope.

Impact & Key Takeaways

User-Centered Design

Grounding every decision in real user research made the final product dramatically simpler and more trustworthy than initial concepts.

๐Ÿค

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Leading a team of designers, developers, and NGO stakeholders reinforced the value of clear communication and structured project management.

๐Ÿš€

MVP Mindset

Shipping a focused, functional product quickly and iterating based on real feedback is more valuable than perfecting features in isolation.
